CENTERBROOK, CONNECTICUT (MARCH 27, 2012) – Willow Capital Group, LLC (Willow), a Commercial Lending and Business Services company has marked its second anniversary.  Established in March 2010, Willow was formed by Bill McCluskey and Calvin Thompson to offer credit unions and other lending institutions services, including loan sourcing, underwriting, closing and servicing.  In deciding to launch Willow, Mr. McCluskey, CEO said, "We saw an opportunity to utilize our combined experience to serve the commercial lending market, while at the same time assisting our Credit Union and lending partners in establishing sound loan portfolios."

Over the last two years, Willow has originated, underwritten, and closed over $250 million in commercial loans throughout the country.  Currently, Willow maintains a servicing portfolio in excess of $300 million, which includes all major property types with over 30 participating credit unions.  Recently, Willow closed a $6 million multi-family transaction in the Atlanta, Georgia area; a $6.5 million hotel transaction, also in Atlanta, and a $20 million dollar skilled nursing facility located in Brooklyn, New York.  For 2012, Willow projects closings to exceed $200 million.

Due to its consistent growth, Willow has doubled the size of its headquarters in Centerbrook, CT to accommodate additional staff.  In addition to the Connecticut office, Willow recently opened offices in Miami Lakes, Florida.
